(FREE) Lesson 3 of ABA’s Certified Aircraft Broker Course

The seller rep works for one person: the aircraft owner. Their job is to get the best possible outcome (price + speed + clean close) when selling an aircraft. That means:

  • Creating a compelling marketing package
  • Getting the aircraft listed in front of the right audience
  • Coordinating showings, demos, pre-buy inspections
  • Vetting buyers and offers
  • Navigating everything from LOIs to final delivery

Most seller reps work on exclusive contracts, and they’re usually paid a percentage of the sale price—typically between 3% and 5%. The seller pays this.

The seller rep isn’t there to offer equal service to both parties. Their job is to get the seller top value with the least amount of hassle.
