- Aircraft owners don’t always want to hand over details unless you vet buyers first
(KYC, proof of funds, escrow, NDA, etc.) - Buyers don’t want to submit funds unless they know the aircraft’s real, owned, and ready
- Everyone’s cautious—and rightfully so—because everyone’s been burned
Meanwhile, thousands of so-called “brokers” are out here:
- Sending photos of aircraft they don’t have
- Marking up deals without ever speaking to a principal
- Creating Frankenstein broker chains so long no one knows who actually represents who
